The core of the ELEVATECEE project consists of three main work streams: “Identification and mapping of H2/H2 carriers and CCUS value chains” (WP2), “H2/H2 carriers and CCUS project development” (WP3) and “Stakeholder engagement” (WP4). These three work packages will jointly drive the project forward to achieve its main objective: the generation of applied industrial projects that contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gases in all sectors that use hydrogen and related hydrogen carriers in the cross-border region of Slovakia, Austria and Hungary.
They are completed by the “Skills development in Policy, Technology and Financing” (WP5), that will evaluate and suggest measures for the engaged regions to learn from each other and transfer the results of the project to a permanent interregional ecosystem. Furthermore, there are dedicated workpackages for “Project Management” (WP1) and “Communication & Dissemination” (WP6)

Work Package 1: Coordination and Project Management

▪ Execute overall project management with regard to costs, time and quality of results
▪ Set-up and maintain adequate communication within the consortium
▪ Adequate management of and communication with EC on the contractual, administrative and financial aspects of the project
▪ Adequate management of risks in this project by constructing a plan with mitigation activities and a contingency plan in case risks occurs.

Work Package 2: Mapping and Identification of value chains

▪ Helping the ecosystems self-awareness and act as a common knowledge base for the stakeholders to engage with each other and forming cross-border
      hydrogen value-chains
▪ Provision of a time-resolved, interactive map showing existing, intended and desired hydrogen supply/demand, Infrastructure, projects and stakeholders
      within the whole project area.
▪ Provide guidance and recommendations to the stakeholders to direct attention to potentially lucrative business opportunities

Work Package 3: Creating project pipeline and project development

▪ By supporting project consortia in creating structured and detailed project concepts, WP3 ensures that each project aligns with technical, legislative,
market and bankability requirements, setting a solid foundation for successful execution.
▪ Create Comprehensive Business Cases with Legal Due Diligence for each green hydrogen project, incorporating detailed legal due diligence to ensure
compliance with local, national, and EU regulations. This includes a thorough assessment of legal requirements, permitting processes, and industry
standards, ensuring that projects are both viable and compliant from a legislative perspective.
▪ Facilitate Investment Readiness and Project Financing to enhance the investment appeal of green hydrogen projects by developing clear financial plans
and bankable business cases. Through financial structuring, risk assessment, and the establishment of an investor commitment, this work package aims
to connect project consortia with private and institutional investors, enabling projects to access the funding needed for full-scale deployment.

Work Package 4: Stakeholder Engagement

▪ Ensure the engagement of all stakeholders within the quadruple helix from all countries and regions throughout the project and within the WPs.
▪ Successful organisation of the major project events: Kick-off, Working Conferences and Closing Event with all relevant stakeholders engaged, with high
      efficiency and relevant outcome
▪ Managing all stakeholder groups and especially engaging the enabling stakeholder such as Public Authorities, Managing Authorities, Energy Agencies and
      Funding Authorities and financial institutions.

Work Package 5: Skills development in Policy, Technology, Financing

▪ Evaluation of existing national/regional hydrogen action plans and related strategic documents in participating countries in regard of status quo in the
areas “Policy and Regulation”, “Technology, Solutions and Standards”, “Financing and Investments”. Review and comparison of the performance of
involved countries on a mutual basis, identification of gaps and challenges and development of suggestions for improvement. This review will be
participative with relevant stakeholders from quadruple helix invited first to contribute, then to preview the results and engage in discussions to finetune
      the final outputs.
▪ Use of a set of dashboards alongside narratives to highlight best practices and case studies.
▪ Serve as a forum for sharing lessons learned and adopting new and promising practices from each other.

Work Package 6: Communication & Dissemination

▪ Maximize the impact of the project through wide dissemination of the project outcomes and effective communication of its achievements and activities
towards targeted stakeholders throughout the project.
▪ Raising awareness in the general public for the innovations and different type of value chains developed in the project.
▪ Dissemination of the results and experiences to the general public, energy professionals and relevant authorities.
▪ Exploring and manifesting synergies with topic related in other funding programmes and S3 Platforms.
